Roy and Diana Wimbish of Bishop announce the engagement of their daughter, Keely A. Wimbish to Taylor J. Mahaffey, son of Ken Mahaffey of Corpus Christi, and Ruth Mahaffey of Conroe. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Denise and Diane Egan, and the late Carl J. Harnishfeger of Nantucket, Mass., and Laurel Wimbish and the late Francis M. Wimbish of Corpus Christi. The bride-elect is working on her degree in Art History and is also an artist. She eventually would like to obtain a masters degree. She is currently a full time employee at a local credit union. The groom-elect served six years in the Marine Corps Reserves, where he served a year in Iraq in 2007. He currently works for Holt Cat. He also is a talented photographer who has been acquired by the local venues to photograph big events. A January wedding is planned at the Courtyard At Gaslight Square in Corpus Christi. The couple plans to honeymoon in Maine.
