Pvt. Gustavo L. Hernandez Pvt. Gustavo L. Hernandez, of Kingsville, arrived at the C.C. International Airport on Tuesday, Aug. 24, where his parents Valde Hernandez and Noemi Schubert, along with his sister Nicole Hernandez, brother-in-law Chris Garcia, brother Alan Schubert, and his niece Loryn April Garcia welcomed him.

Pvt. Hernandez is currently stationed at Fort Bliss Army Base in El Paso with the 39th Battalion where he is assigned to Field Artillery.

He is a qualified Rifle-Expert upon his completion of Sniper Training.

Hernandez, a 2009 H.M. King High graduate, is in Kingsville visiting family and friends, specifically his best friend Tony Garza, also a 2009 H.M. King graduate, who is departing to his enlistment in the U.S. Army.
