Robert ‘Bob’ Jay Davis Robert “Bob” Jay Davis ADJCS USN Retired, 75, of Kingsville, died March 11, 2010, in Corpus Christi.

He was born on May 16, 1934, in Somerset, Pa., to Curtis Jay and Minnie Davis.

Survivors include by his wife of 51 years, Janet C. Davis of Kingsville; two daughters, Allyson (Richard) Nelson of Pensacola, Fla., and Lora (Raymond) Kassler of Driscoll; brother, Frank Davis of Bluefield, Va.; two sisters, Olive Fulton of Cedartown, Ga., and Betty Vaught of Cuming, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville was in charge of the arrangements.
