Eduardo Mejorado Eduardo Mejorado, 77, of Kingsville, died March 12, 2010 surrounded by his family.

He was born on June 7, 1932 in San Antonio to Pablo Mejorado and Dominga Fuentes Mejorado.

Mejorado served in the U.S. Army and fought bravely in the Korean War.

He then embarked to work in the civilian world.

After 37 years of commitment, he retired from Naval Air Station Kingsville Public Works Department.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ramona Tijerina Mejorado of Kingsville; his sons, Jesse (Elizabeth) Mejorado, Rolando (Nancy) Mejorado, Javier (Sylvia) Mejorado, Alex (Annette) Mejorado, and Eduardo Mejorado, Jr., all of Kingsville; his daughters, Rosie (Erasmo) Guajardo of Kingsville, Annie Hosseinpour of Harlingen, and Sylvia (Noe) Ramirez of Ricardo; his brother, Elisandro (Alfonsa) Mejorado of Corpus Christi; 24 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation took place March 15 at the Turcotte- Piper Mortuary Chapel.

A rosary was recited March 15 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel.

A funeral Mass was celebrated March 16 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with the Rev. Peter Thenan as celebrant.

Burial followed in Kingsville at Chamberlain Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Kleberg County Military Funeral Detail.
