Richard Lee Mumford, 59, of Clute, died March 6, 2010.

He was born Jan. 6, 1951, in Kingsville, to Enos Jesse and Ethel Mumford.

Mumford served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was an operator at B.A.S.F. for over 32 years.

Survivors include his son, Clint (Michelle Rathkamp) Mumford of Lake Jackson; his mother, Ethel Mumford; one sister, Jo Ann (Romey) Arnold; and one brother, Rodney Mumford, all of Driscoll; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held March 11 at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel in Lake Jackson.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a favorite charity.
