Lorenza O. Flores Lorenza O. Flores, 85, of Bishop, died Feb. 26, 2010, in Kingsville.

Flores was born on Sept. 5, 1924, in Kenedy to Miguel and Angelita Ortega.

She was a retired housewife.

Survivors include two daughters, Maria Rita Rendon of Houston and Oralia (Arturo) Rojas of Bishop; one son, Jerry (Wendy) Gomez of Houston; one daughter-in-law, Sherry Gomez of Houston; four brothers, Lupe Ortega of Bishop, Jesus (Viola) Ortega of Kingsville, Ramon Ortega and Vicente (Yolanda) Ortega, all of Bishop; 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Feb. 28 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home in Kingsville.

A rosary was recited Feb. 28 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral service was held March 1 at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Koziel officiating.

Burial followed at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
