On behalf of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2375, we would like to thank Kingsville and surrounding communities for contributing to the second annual Fill the Helmet fundraiser that was held on Feb. 26-28.

The funds raised bring the veterans of this community closer to their goal of obtaining a post home.

A special thanks goes to Walgreens, McDonalds, El Tapatio, El Dorado, Church’s Fried Chicken, Walmart, H-E-B, Stripes, Kingsville Fire Department, and volunteers, such as Naval Air Station Kingsville, ROTC-TAMUK, and Lt. Col. Steven Crites.
