Michael Davis Fain was born November 3, 1956 in Corpus Christi, TX. He died at his residence in the arms of his family, March 6, 2010 in Sarita, TX.
He was preceded in death by his mother Martha Taylor, his father Douglas Fain, his brothers Douglas Wilson Fain, Jr. and Matthew Irvin Taylor.
Mike was known for never having met a stranger. He was a retired Game Warden from Texas Parks and Wildlife. He served as Game Warden for over 25 years in Kenedy County and retired in 2003.
He is survived by his wife Patricia (Patti) Fain; three daughters, Christina Renee (Kevin) Bates of Buda, Texas, Amy Diane (Jason) Johnson of Houston, Texas and Dominique (Niki) D’Agostino of Sarita, Texas and 5 grandchildren; brothers James Fain of Mississippi and David Fain of Florida.
Active and Retired Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens will serve as pallbearers. Those interested in participating in the funeral procession should meet at the Sarita Town Square at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010.
Visitation will be held at Duddlesten Funeral Home in Raymondville on Sunday from noon until 9:00 p.m., and Monday morning. Visitation will continue Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 in the Trophy Room at his residence in Sarita, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9th at the Sacred Heart Chapel at La Parra with interment at the Cowboy Cemetery. Family requests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mike.
