Juan Luis Gamez Jr. Juan Luis Gamez, Jr., 67, of Kingsville, passed away March 6, 2010. He was born January 31, 1943 to Juan L. Gamez and Jacoba Deanda Gamez. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Rudy Gamez, sister, Delia Aguilar and grandson, Ace Martinez.

Mr. Gamez was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Alicia Alaniz Gamez of Kingsville; daughters: Sonja Gamez (Ruben) Martinez of Kingsville, Monica Gamez of Austin, Sylvia Gamez (Robert) Kubiak of Austin and Cindy Gamez also of Austin; brother, Albert Gamez of Corpus Christi, sisters: Margarita Gamez Salazar of San Antonio, Celia Gamez of Kingsville and Sylvia Gamez Barbour of San Benito, Texas. Other survivors include his grandchildren: Julie Ann Martinez of Kingsville, Ruben (Estrella) Martinez Jr. of Kingsville, Christina Kubiak, Isabel Kubiak and Madeleine Kubiak all of Austin, Texas; great grandchild Emma Rae Martinez of Kingsville.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery.
