Rodney Earle ‘Bud’ Trant Rodney Earle ‘Bud” Trant, age 64, of San Antonio, passed away in his home on March 2, 2010. He was born on January 22, 1946 to Gordon Earle Trant and Selma Louise Trotter Trant.

He graduated H.M. King High School in Kingsville and Texas Tech University. He served honorably in the United States Army.

He married the love of his life, Mary in 1976. Partners in life, they loved horses and enjoyed trail rides.

He is preceded in death by his father, and two sisters, Nancy Vaughn and Wanda Fogle.

Rodney is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33yrs, Mary; his mother, Louise Trant of Kingsville; nephews, Steven (Gayle) Vaughn of Bishop and Clay (Lisa) Vaughn of Houston; niece, Randa Lester of Kingsville and their families.

Rodney will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends that he leaves behind.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 3:00pm at the Porter Loring North Chapel, 2102 N. Loop 1604 East, San Antonio.
