Lamar Elementary names Teacher and Teacher Assistant of the Year — Lamar Elementary faculty recently voted for their 2009-2010 Campus Teacher of the Year. Winners were First Grade Teacher Yolanda Herrera, right, and Bilingual Teacher Assistant, Cindy Cantu, left. Herrera will soon compete for the Kingsville Independent School District Teacher of the Year.
