Rodolfo ‘Rudy’ Guajardo Rodolfo “Rudy” Guajardo, 49, of Bishop, died Feb. 28, 2010, in Corpus Christi.

He was born May 3, 1960, to Ignacio “Nacho” and Soila G. Guajardo in Kingsville.

He was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music and being with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Ruby Guajardo of Bishop; five children, Kenneth (Christina) Guajardo, Kevin (Joanna) Guajardo, Keith (Julia Pena) Guajardo, Brandie (David) Valdez and Amberley Covarrubias, all of Bishop; three brothers, Hector (Esther) Guajardo of Lake Station, Ind., Ignacio (Olga) Guajardo Jr. of Corpus Christi, Ernesto Guajardo of Bishop; three sisters, Olga (Manuel) Gonzalez of Bishop, Diana (Oscar) Gonzales of Bishop, and Patricia (Erasmo) Reyes of Victoria; one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

A rosary was recited March 2 at the Turcotte- Piper Mortuary in Kingsville.

A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. March 3 at the St. James Catholic Church in Bishop.

Burial followed at St. James Cemetery in Bishop.
