Girl Scout cookies available for purchase through March 7

2010-03-03 / News

Area Girl Scouts have picked up their inventory of Girl Scout cookies to deliver to their customers and prepare for the Cookie Booth season that kicked off Feb. 20.

Trailer trucks, loaded with hundreds of thousands of cases of all the Girl Scout Cookie favorites are delivering cookies to Girl Scouts this week and that means the cookies will soon be in the hands (and freezers) of customers.

Girl Scouts and adult volunteers will be delivering Girl Scout cookies to homes and offices.

The delivery also began the preparation for cookie booth locations opened for business throughout the area.

Customers can stock up on even more cookies. Look for booths at Walmart, Walgreens, Lowe’s, CVS as well as at many other local supportive community partners.

Through March 7, you can get your favorite Girl Scout Cookie including a new “Thank You Berry Munch”.

Boxes are $3.50 each and boxes purchased support programs for girls in the area.

New this year, the Council is making it easy for you to find a cookie booth nearest you.

Visit www.gsgst.org and use the Cookie Locator to search for a Girl Scout Cookie Booth by entering your zip code.

With every cookie season, girls enhance their skills, learn to work as a team, manage finances, and give back to the community. The girls develop selfconfidence and learn to work together toward a common goal.
