Dr. Rex Gandy The Kingsville Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual banquet on Thursday.

The event will be held from 6 – 9 p.m. at the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Student Union Building Ballrooms A&B.

The keynote speaker for the banquet will be Dr. Rex Gandy, Ph.D., Provost Texas A & M University – Kingsville.

Chamber President William Marin, owner of Comfort Inn, will introduce the officers and directors for the 2010 year while honoring Past- President Ode Moreno, Vice Principal at H.M. King High School. The chamber will also recognize the work of the Chamber Ambassadors. In addition, awards will be presented for Kingsville Citizen of the Year, Otis West Lifetime Service, and Business of the Year.

Tickets for the banquet are available at the Chamber of Commerce, 635 East King. Individual tickets are $30 per person and various levels of table sponsorships are still available. For more information, contact the Chamber at 361-592-6438.
