First Community Bank breaks ground at new site
Architectural rendering of the new First Community Bank in Kingsville
First Community Bank broke ground on a new Kingsville banking location Feb. 16.
The 5,600 square-foot site will offer customers full personal and commercial banking and loan services.
Currently located at 1629 Brahma Blvd, the new bank will move down the road to the 2500 block of Brahma Boulevard in order to have more space.
South Texas-based Fulton Construction is the contractor for the new building and Gignac & Associates is the architect.
In addition to Kingsville, First Community Bank has locations in Corpus Christi, Alice, Padre Island and Portland.
FCB is a community bank, which was established in South Texas more than 25 years ago.
“We are excited to have more space in the new building,” Brian Coufal, FCB Kingsville Bank manager said. “We were only supposed to be in the current building temporarily, however we have been there for over 10 years.”
Coufal said he is hoping the new location can serve the community’s banking needs better than ever before.
“We feel this location has a lot of traffic and will be more convenient for our customers,” he said.
“We would love to host a Christmas party here in the future and invite the community to help celebrate our new location.”
Expected completion date is November of this year.
