Ragsdale – Bennett marriage vows recited

Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Ragsdale Jr. Mr. and Mrs. James Thomas Ragsdale Jr. Leslie Ann Bennett married James Thomas Ragsdale Jr. on Jan. 23, 2010 at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church in Kingsville.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Bennett of Kingsville.

The groom is the son of Colonel and Mrs. James Thomas Ragsdale Sr. of Nashville, Tenn.

The Rev. Piotr Koziel performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents, wearing a white taffeta, strapless, pick-up gown with a beaded embroidered metallic lace corset style bodice, chapel train and crystal tiara.

The matron of honor was Stacey Lamoure.

The maid of honor was Christina Albano.

Bridesmaids were Stephanie Bennett, Ashley Owen, Mary Catherine Ragsdale, LauraLee Shanks, Caitlin Kirk, and Noel Mason.

The flower girl was Savannah Matthews.

The best men were Billy May and Joey Martin.

Groomsmen were Jason Campbell, Chris Gonzales, Chris Chauvin, Matt Reichl, AJ Wendell, and Lane Drummond.

The ring bearer was Sanders Young.

Ushers were Tyler Kirk, Stephen Lamoure, and Ronnie Owen.

Readers were Veronica Skrobarczyk and Angela Gill.

Soloists were Patricia Skrobarczyk and Lynette Yaklin.

Gifts were presented by Lauren Wiederanders and Brad and Caroline Young.

Altar servers were Karen Datka, Alex Hajek, Jacob Ryan and Kelly Ryan.

Eucharistic ministers were Dave and Beck Cox.

Photographers were Jessi Bynum and Jacob Wiederanders.

Immediately following the ceremony at the exit of the church the bride and groom were announced with a sword arch.

Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held at the Henrietta Memorial Center in Kingsville.

The couple will reside in New Bern, N.C., where they will be stationed.
