Andrea Cuevas The El Dorado Club is making preparations for their 42nd Annual Debutante Sweetheart Ball to be held on February 27, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 1600 N. 14th Street.

The presentation will begin promptly at 7 p.m. leading to the dance from 8p.m. to 12 a.m. featuring Rey Ramos and The Sparkling City Orchestra.

The following debutantes will be presented:

Miss Alli Arredondo, Miss Andrea Cuevas, Miss Elisha De La Garza, Miss Jacquee Duron, Miss Daniella Martinez, Miss Camile Mora, Miss Kaela Pena, and Miss Tiffany Vela.

The El Dorado Club has traditionally honored community leaders who share the same principals and ideals of its members.

This year’s honorees are: Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Bazan, Major and Mrs. Hector “Lauro” Lopez (Ret.), and Mr. and Mrs. Edelmiro “Miro” Rodriguez.

This years Master and Mistress of Ceremony will be Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Lozano.

Kaela Pena Tickets are $40 per couple, $20 single, 12 and under free, and are available at the Man’s Shop located at 817 S. 14th Street. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
