Maria Lydia Gutierrez Former Kingsville resident, Maria Lydia Gutierrez, 92, of Sugar Land, died Feb. 6, 2010, in Missouri City.

She was born on March 13, 1917, in Brooks County.

Gutierrez was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Lydia Sanchez of Sugar Land; and two grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 11 at the Turcotte-Piper Mortuary Chapel in Kingsville.

Burial will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville.
