Soleil Leigh Pilgrim Soleil Leigh Pilgrim, 24, of Kingsville, passed away January 29, 2010 in Kingsville after a long battle with Tuberous Sclerosis. Soleil was born on Augutst 17, 1985 to Denise Garcia and the late Timothy Lee Pilgrim.

Soleil was a happy young lady who loved to laugh and enjoyed passing her time reading her rock band magazines. She enjoyed keeping up with all the latest news on rock bands, her favorite being the band HIM. Those who knew her, remember her for always being dressed and ready to go. Her daily routine began with hair and make-up and always smelling nice. Soleil loved caring for her grandfather always reminding them of doctor appointments and just making sure that they were doing well. Soleil was very helpful both at home and occasionally volunteering at Bishop Primary where her mom worked. If you ever had the opportunity to meet her she would never forget your name and a tid bit about you. Soleil attended Kingsville ISD from kindergarten until 5th grade. She then attended Bishop CISD from 6th grade until her graduation from Bishop High School in May 2006. Soleil Leigh Pilgrim is preceded in death by her father Timothy Lee Pilgrim of Kingsville, her maternal grandmother Sylvia Rangel Garcia of Ben Bolt, Texas and paternal grandmother Carol Pilgrim and brother, Juan Diego Herrera both of Kingsville.

Survivors include her parents, Denise (David) Richey of Kingsville; sister, Elasha Pilgrim of Kingsville; brothers, Jaime Herrera of Fort Hood, Texas and Hector Herrera of Okinawa, Japan; a niece Elora Espinoza tand nephew Zachary Castillo both of Kingsville; maternal grandfather, Jose (Kookie) Garcia and paternal grandfather, George (Glenna) Pilgrim all of Kingsville; paternal stepgrandmother, Yolanda Herrera of Zapata, Texas and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm on February 2, 2010 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop M. Garcia officiating.

Interment will follow at Chamberlain Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Garcia, Michael Garcia, Hector Herrera, Jaime Herrera, Kyle Richey, Trae Richey. Honorary pallbearers will be Joel Gonzalez and Victor Gonzalez Jr.
