DWI TRAINING — The Kleberg-Kenedy Counties District Attorney’s Office in cooperation with the Texas District and County Attorneys Association and Texas Department of Transportation held a free DWI training seminar for local police departments at the TAMUK Ballroom recently. (Bottom photo) W. Clay Abbot, DWI Resource Prosecutor and Kleberg County District Attorney John Hubert conducted the seminar, which reviewed legislative and case law updates and new techniques and defenses against DWI offenders. Many police departments from the area attended including Kingsville, Aransas Pass, Corpus Christi as well as Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens and the Kleberg County Sherriff’s Department Deputies.
