Hinojosa - Silvas

David and Sylvia Schroeder and Nestor Hinojosa of Kingsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Cristina Jean Hinojosa, to Adolfo Silvas Jr., son of Adolfo and Dora Silvas, also of Kingsville. A June 26, 2010 wedding is planned. The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of H.M. King High School and a 2008 graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is currently employed with Bishop CISD at Bishop Primary School as a second grade teacher. The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate Santa Gertrudis Academy High School and a graduate of Schreiner University in Kerrville and received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Exercise Science. He is currently employed with Santa Gertrudis ISD as a teacher and coach.
