Former Kingsville resident, Frances L. Weisman, 88, of Vancouver, Wash., died Jan. 7, 2010 in Vancouver, Wash.

She was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Kingsville, to the late Louis and Beulah Brocker.

Weisman was raised in Kingsville, where she met and married the love of her life, Gerald P. Weisman.

With a husband who was a Lt. Colonel in Air Force, she and her family spent time living in many different places.

When her husband retired from the service they settled in Fresno, Calif.

Five years ago she moved with her daughter to Vancouver, Wash.

Survivors include her children, Scott (Kathy) Weisman of Fresno, Calif., and Jamesa Weisman of Vancouver, Wash.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at a later date at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.

Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
