William Sizemore II William Sizemore II The 39th Annual Combined Service Club Luncheon will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26 at The Club on the base at Naval Air Station Kingsville.

It is the one day out of the year that the Kingsville community sets aside to thank all the men and women in uniform at the naval air station.

Rear Admiral William Sizemore II, Chief of Naval Air Training, will be the keynote speaker.

The admiral lived in Kingsville as a youth when his father was an instructor pilot at NAS Kingsville and his mother graduated from Texas A&I University.

Sizemore is a 1980 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and received his wings of gold in 1982.

The Junior Officer and Enlisted Person of the Year at NAS Kingsville will be recognized at the luncheon.

Radio talk show host Jim Lago of KKTX will be the Master of Ceremonies.

The luncheon is being catered by the Cherry Tree Tearoom Restaurant. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased from any Kingsville Navy League board member and at the Chamber of Commerce.
