A mostly empty Lake LaCour, top photo,
was overflowing onto Bishop Streets Friday as more
than five inches of rain fell Thursday and Friday in
Bishop. The water crossed Birch Street. Hercules Drive,
bottom right photo, was also flooded Friday as much of
the Coastal Bend remained under a flash flood warning.
The usually dry primary flood control drainage ditch
for Bishop was filled to capacity by Friday morning. The
