Arturo ‘Artie’ Miguel Luna Arturo “Artie” Miguel Luna, 23, died Jan. 1, 2010.

He was born Jan. 2, 1986, in Kingsville.

Luna was a graduate of H.M. King High School in 2004.

He was a senior at Texas A&M University- Kingsville, his Major was business management.

Luna was a loyal employee of HEB Kingsville for the last seven years where he experienced great success as a Manager.

Survivors include his parents, Arturo and Norma Jean Luna; his sisters, Natalie Annette, Ashley Marie, and Melissa Nicole Luna and nephew, Samuel Andres Saenz; grandparents, Cecilia Luna, Rolando and Ninfa Huerta; uncles, Rafael, Fernando and Aaron Luna, Ruben Cantu, and Jesse Sarabia; aunts, Cindy Luna, Cynthia Cantu, and Cecilia Sarabia, and many cousins.

Visitation was held Jan. 4 with a rosary recited that same evening at the Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home presided by Deacon John Joiner.

A funeral service was celebrated Jan. 5 at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Pete Stanley presiding.

Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.
