Arturo G. Flores Arturo G. Flores, 73 of Kingsville died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009 in Kingsville.

He was born Feb. 26, 1936 in Kingsville to Mr. and Mrs. Clemente (Ambrosia) Flores.

He was a retired deacon and teacher and coach with the Bishop Consolidated Independent School District. Flores was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Maria Vera Flores, of Kingsville; one son, Arturo “Bo” Flores Jr. of Kingsville; three daughters: Lina Flores and Tina Flores of Kingsville, and Dina Flores-Mejorado (Mark) of Houston; three brothers, Clemente Flores of Palestine, and Adan Flores and Alvaro Flores of Kingsville: three sisters, Hortencia Flores, Alicia Galvan, and Maria Flores, all of Kingsville; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Dec. 28 with a Rosary recited at St. Martin’s Catholic Church. Funeral Mass was celebrated Dec. 29 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Isidoro Garcia, OMI, and the Rev. Jose Torres, OMI. officiating.

Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.
