Antonia T. Gomez Antonia T. Gomez, of Harlingen, 102, passed away on Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, at her residence in Harlingen, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Aug. 28, 1907, to Teodoso Tanguma and Eusebia Alaniz.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Gomez, Sr., and her parents, Teodoso Tanguma and Eusebia Alaniz. She is also preceded in death by her two sons, Ovidio Gomez of Los Fresnos, Abel Gomez of Phoenix, Ariz., and two daughters, Estefana G. Tejada of Brownsville and Herminia G. Cruz of Bishop, and six grandchildren.

She is survived by her three sons, Jose (Jova) Gomez, Jr. of Los Fresnos, Gilbert (Veva) Gomez of Phoenix, Arizona, Adan (Maggie) Gomez of Phoenix, Arizona; and three daughters, Bea (L.A.) Guzman of Harlingen, Linda Martinez of Bishop, Eva Gomez of Harlingen; 41 grandchildren, 55 greatgrandchildren, and 26 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 20, 2009 at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel.

A funeral service was held Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel.

Burial followed at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be her family members.
