SARITA SCHOOL HELPS BISHOP FIRE VICTIMS — The Sarita Elementary School Student Council had its first fundraiser on December 17, 2009. They had a Christmas Rummage Sale, where donated items were sold and gift-wrapped for the holiday season. When they heard about the victims in Bishop, Texas who lost everything in a fire, they came together and voted on the decision to donate $100 to the families. “That shows where their hearts are and that they do care about others,” Mrs. Zamora stated.
