The 2009 La Posada Door Decorating Contest took place Dec. 10-11 with six schools participating.

The winners are as follows:

Harrel Elementary - Mrs. Vasquez, first grade

Lamar Elementary - Mrs. Luera and Ms. Flores - prekindergarten3

Kleberg Elementary - Ms. Hietbrink

H.M. King - Cafeteria Staff, Shirley Vela - Manager

Nanny Elementary - Mrs. Garza - fourth grade

LASER - Mrs. Trevino - fourth-sixth grade
