Mother Nature forces celebration indoors
Rain and bitter-cold temperatures forced Bishop’s annual in the Park celebration to retreat indoors to the Bishop High School Auditorium Dec. 4. After a round of Christmas music from Bishop High School band members, Santa paid tribute to the Holy Family by kneeling before Baby Jesus.

Santa, with Bishop cheerleaders serving as his elves, arrives for annual Yuletide celebration. 
Youngsters and their parents wait in line for a chance to visit with Santa Claus during Bishop’s annual holiday celebration. 
Although Hal Ham was unable to lead the traditional Christmas Walk in the Park because of bad weather, he did sing a Christmas carol, accompanied by Bishop cheerleaders in their elf costumes. 
Alvin Dragon continued his long-standing tradition of playing Santa and greeting Holy Family. 
Bishop Chamber president Christina Gutierrez extends a welcome to the audience. 
The Vincent family portrayed the Holy Family (Steve, Jennifer and baby Colt) with their sons Mikel and Jordan as shepherd and angel. 
Rev. Melvin Antonio offers a prayer before Santa visits with children.
