Ed Rachal Foundation makes donation to Brush Country CASA

2009-11-29 / Business

The board members of the Ed Rachal Foundation awarded CASA of Kleberg County Brush Country CASA $10,000.

Through the Ed Rachal Foundation’s mission “for the benefit of charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes within the State of Texas”, the Foundation supports the efforts of Brush Country CASA who helps this community by advocating for its most vulnerable citizens – the abused and neglected children who are removed from their homes.

This donation will help recruit, train and support volunteers who will speak up in court for these children.

CASA is a non-profit organization and no other volunteer program duplicates what these volunteers so courageously do.

It takes someone special to be a volunteer who will make a difference in the lives of these children. These volunteers are the “eyes and ears” of the Judge.

Brush Country CASA wants to congratulate the Ed Rachal Foundation for stepping up to the challenge of making a difference in the life of an abused and neglected child.

If you are interested in “making a difference” in the community, contact CASA at 595-7233 or for more information go to our website at: www. brushcountrycasa.org.
