Anna B. Ortega Anna B. Ortega, 51, of Kingsville, passed away November 16, 2009.

She was born July 6, 1958 in Kingsville, Texas to Teodoro Rodriguez and San Juana Garza Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her father, Teodoro Rodriguez, and her brother, Tomas G. Rodriguez.

Survivors include her husband, Alberto Ortega of Kingsville; her mother, San Juana Rodriguez of Bishop; son, Alberto Ortega Jr. of Kingsville; daughter, Laura Ovelia (Horacio Jr.) Castillo of Kingsville; brothers: Teodoro (Irma) Rodriguez Jr. of Alice, Texas, Tim (Janie) Rodriguez of Bishop, Michael (De Lydia) Rodriguez of Bishop, Mark Rodriguez also of Bishop; sisters, Ofelia (Alvaro) Pena of Kingsville, Texas, Ovelia Morales of Farmers Branch, Texas, Janie (Bob) Odom of Kingsville, Texas, Alicia (Jeff) Pollitt of New Orleans, La., and Mary (Charlie) Goetsch of Bishop.

Visitation was held Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home with a rosary recited that same evening.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, November 19, 2009 at St. James Catholic Church in Bishop.

Interment followed at St. James Cemetery in Bishop.

Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
