Ann Welhausen

Ann Welhausen, 87, of Shiner, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009.

She was born in Kingsville, on Jan. 18, 1922, to John and Mae Wilkerson Demauri.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Mildred Mee and husband Adolph Velek of Galveston and Cyndy Hundl and husband John of Shiner; son, Charles Welhausen of Dallas; son-in-law, Paul Elliott of Ruston, La.; eight grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 26 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27 at the First United Methodist Church in Shiner with the Rev. Jay Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Shiner Cemetery.
