Indra Reddy recognized

Dr. Indra K. Reddy Dr. Indra K. Reddy The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists has named Dr. Indra K. Reddy, Professor and Founding Dean of the Texas A&M Health Science Center, Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy as one of its 2009 Fellows for outstanding contributions to the pharmaceutical sciences.

Reddy joined 20 other scientists honored by AAPS this year.

He was recognized for his innovative contributions in the areas of design of novel ocular drugs and delivery systems, preformulation and evaluation of targeted and site-specific chemical delivery systems, and the development of in vitro models as alternatives to animal testing.

AAPS is a professional, scientific society of about 12,000 members employed in academia, industry, government and other research institutes worldwide.
