Jackie Marie Charles Owens Jackie Marie Charles Owens, 58, of Austin, formerly of Kingsville, died on November 12, 2009 in her home. Jackie was the first-born child of Jack and Juanita Charles. She was born in Dallas, Texas on November 12, 1951.

Jackie is survived by her parents, Jack and Juanita Charles of Kingsville, her daughter, Suzette (Mark) Reinhart of Oak Park, Michigan, two sisters, Jeanne (Brant) Hahn of Boerne and Joyce (Greg) Coleman of Kingsville; two brothers, John (Suzanne) Charles of Round Rock and James (Lisa) Charles of Orlando, Florida, numerous nieces and nephews as well as a large extended family and circle of friends.

A longtime resident of Austin, Jackie was passionate about her work with special needs adults. She will be remembered by those who know her best as kind, loving, and a true animal lover (with an affinity for cats).

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at First Baptist Church Round Rock. Condolences can be directed to 1131 Oaklands Dr. Round Rock, Texas 78681.
