LAMAR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN ST. JUDE MATH-A-THON — Lamar Elementary PreK3 and PreK4 students recently participated in the St. Jude Math-a-thon, an event that supports St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The funding from the math-a-thon helps St. Jude patients battle cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases. Pictured are Kathy Bendele, event organizer, and the top fund raising collectors: pre-kindergarten4 student Daniel Santiago Macareno ($100) and prekindergarten3 student Dylan Salinas ($118).
