Hewitt selected as October’s National Honor Society Member of the Month

Nicole Hewitt Nicole Hewitt H.M. King student Nicole Hewitt has been named October’s National Honor Society Member of the Month.

Extracurricular Activities: Nicole is involved in the marching band and plays the clarinet, is an editor in Yearbook, involved in the Venture Crew, the Youth Group at her church, the UIL Science Team, and Girl Scouts.

Work Experience: Nicole has accumulated many hours of volunteer work doing the following; beach clean-up; make, package, and send cookies to troops overseas; Silver Award-Girl Scouts; helped with garden for Keep Kingsville Beautiful located at the old police station; and King Ranch’s Ranch Hand Breakfast.

Plans after high school: Nicole plans to get a bachelors and masters degree possibly in psychology, but she hasn’t quite decided. She wants to move north where there would be four seasons and the leaves would change color in the fall.

Interesting facts: I like to read, travel with my family, hike, backpack in Colorado with the Venture Crew, scrapbook, sew, and see Broadway plays or any plays in general.
