CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg announces newest medical staff member
Todd Weiss, M.D. examines patient Nicholas Deer. CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital
Todd Weiss, M.D., is the newest addition to the medical staff at CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Kleberg and he offers care for a wide range of disorders in his specialty of Otolarynology. Most of us know Otolarynolgy better as the specialty that treats Ears, Nose and Throat (ENT) disorders.
Dr. Weiss is a native Texan, who grew up in Dallas, and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After he completed his residency at Southern Illinois University, Dr. Weiss was eager to get back to Texas and away from the cold Illinois winters.
Getting to help people every day is the reason Dr. Weiss chose to become a physician. When asked why he chose to specialize in ENT, Dr. Weiss said that he thinks the anatomy of the ears, nose and throat is the most interesting and the surgery is the most intricate. Most of the work he does with his patients is done in office visits, but he also performs surgery to treat disorders. The most common surgeries he performs are for placing tubes in a patient’s ears, surgery of the middle ear, and thyroid and sinus surgery.

In his practice, Dr. Weiss treats both adults and children and he is excited to be offering his services in the Kingsville area. “I felt that the Kingsville area was underserved in ENT, and I felt I could help,” said Dr. Weiss.
He will be providing care in Kingsville every Wednesday afternoon, and his staff from his Corpus Christi office will travel with him. In addition to treatment and surgery, Dr. Weiss can also provide a full allergy clinic, which can be important in treating sinus and ear problems.
To schedule an appointment, please call 361- 221-9730 for the Kingsville office or 361-225-0839 for the Corpus Christi office.
