The Seahawks soared over the Badgers to advance into the first round of the 2009 football playoffs with a 35-10 victory.
Riviera collected 12 first downs to Bishop’s 10.
The time of possession tilted to the Badgers, controlling the ball for 24:28 while the Seahawks possession totaled 23:32.
Riviera took advantage of its red-zone chances, scoring in three of four attempts.
Meanwhile, the Badgers went one for one on red-zone scoring chances.
The Seahawks accumulated 297 total yards on 53 offensive plays while the Badgers totaled 278 yards on 47 plays.
The bulk of the Badger’s offensive totals came by way of its rushing attack, gaining 251 yards on 39 rushes.
Riviera had a balanced offensive scheme, gaining 172 yards on the ground and 125 yards in the air.
For the Badgers, senior running back Zack Lowman led the Bishop offense with 119 yards on 15 carries followed by sophomore running back Jacob Beltran with 93 yards on nine carries, including a 77-yard scamper for a touchdown.

Senior quarterback Jacob Ortegon completed one of six pass attempts for 31 yards.
Senior receiver Taylor Lee was the recipient of the lone pass completion for the Badger offense.
The Badger defense was lead once again by senior linebacker Tommy Cavazos with nine total tackles (7 solo, 4 assisted) followed by junior linebacker Nick Garza with 7.5 tackles (6 solo, 3 assisted).
The Seahawk offense was led by senior quarterback Wade Moore with 117 yards rushing on 19 carries and one touchdown while junior running back Adrian Caballero added 76 yards on 12 carries.
Moore also completed 9 of 18 pass attempts for 125 yards and four touchdown completions.
CESAR GOMEZ ...Seahawk defensive player of the week
Sophomore receiver Brad Quackenbush and senior receiver Brad Jameson had three receptions each and one touchdown apiece.
Senior receiver Justin Jimenez had two receptions for two touchdowns.
On the Riviera defense, junior Cesar Gomez totaled solo tackles while sophomore Brit Reynolds picked up 6.5 tackles (5 solo, 3 assisted).
Offensive player of the game for the Badgers goes to senior Zack Lowman for his 119 yard 15 carry effort, while defensive player of the game goes to senior Tommy Cavazos for leading the Bishop defense with nine tackles, three for a loss in the game.
For the Seahawks, offensive player honors goes to senior Wade Moore for his 19 carries totaling 117 yards and one rushing touchdown.
Moore also completed nine of 18 pass attempts for 125 yards and four touchdowns.

Defensive player of the game for the Seahawks goes to junior Cesar Gomez leading the Riviera defense with 12 tackles, two for a loss.
The Riviera Seahawks advanced into the first round of the playoffs to face the Three Rivers Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 13 in West Oso.
