Federico O. Valdez Federico O. Valdez, 76, of Kingsville, died Nov. 5, 2009 in Humble.

Valdez was born on Feb. 26, 1933, in Kingsville.

He was a retired electrical engineer, formerly employed with Gruman Aircraft and General Dynamics, and was a United States Navy Veteran.

Survivors include one brother, Frank X. (Rosario) Valdez of Cypress; one sister, Rosa Maria Garza of Garland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Nov. 8 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A rosary was held Nov. 8 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass was held Nov. 9 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Torres officiating.

Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery.
