Salinas) With the recent status of being named Texas Education Agency Exemplary School, the staff and students along with local dignitaries participated in a special ceremony leading to the presentation of the Exemplary Banner Wednesday morning at the Bishop Elementary campus.

It was obvious that the whole campus was very proud of the elementary’s accomplishment including the students with the reading of their winning essays of why they feel this accomplishment was met.

Gonzalez praised the parents, students, staff, and cafeteria workers during the presentation. Gonzalez feels everyone had a very important part in this accomplishment and for that they should be recognized.

Bishop CISD Assistant Superintendent Dr. Eden Hernandez also praised the campus for their teaching techniques. The students and staff look forward to maintaining their exemplary status in the coming years.
