HSC-Rangel College of Pharmacy announces Stephanie Yuma as new communications specialist

Stephanie Yuma has joined the Texas A&M Health Science Center Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy as communications specialist.

In this position, Ms. Yuma will be responsible for maintaining all internal and external communication for the College, as well as assisting in the promotion and advancement of the College.

“I look forward to working closely with the faculty, staff, and students in this institution; and I am fully committed to the overall success of the College of Pharmacy,” said Ms. Yuma.

Dr. Indra K. Reddy, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, observed, “Stephanie’s impressive credentials, together with her intimate knowledge of the community and business environment, will be invaluable in advancing our program.”

Yuma is originally from Bishop, where she graduated from Bishop High School in 2003.

She then attended the University of Texas at San Antonio, receiving a B.A. degree in Speech Communication in 2007.

She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Communication at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

Prior to this appointment, Ms. Yuma worked as the Marketing Director for the Kingsville Chamber of Commerce with the responsibility of effectively communicating with the membership, the general public and the media through newsletters, emails, press releases and monthly luncheon seminars.

Very active in the local community, Yuma participates in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, is a member of the Keep Kingsville Beautiful organization and serves as secretary for the Kingsville’s Next Generation organization.
