Sally C. Saenz Sally C. Saenz Sally C. Saenz, 71, a loving mother of three children, an accomplished educator, and someone who lent a helping hand to those in need joined the Lord to her final resting place on October 23, 2009. She was born in Corpus Christi, Tx on January 21st 1938.

Surrounded by her family, she passed from this life peacefully after nearly a year long battle with cancer. She leaves to mourn her legacy; three sons, Oscar (wife Lynn), Danny, and David, and a loving ex-husband, Oscar Garcia, who cared for her during her greatest time of need. She is also survived by three sisters Adriana (Anita) Ramirez, Molly Goode, and Mary Alice Ramirez, and her brother Oscar Saenz.

A special thanks to Mary Alice and Anita for staying by her side during most of the week leading to her last day.

Sally took great pride in her academic achievements, earning a BS degree in Education from the University of A&I in Kingsville, where she lived half her life, and a masters degree in Education from the University of Houston. She brought passion to the field of education that resulted in a higher quality of learning for the sturdents that attended her school. Her greatest accomplishment was rising through the ranks and overcoming challenges to become the school principal at Cage Elementary in Houston Texas. Sally loved to collect antiques,

had a knack for creating

ƒƒ floral arrangements,

and spent time gardening. She will be missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.

A mass service will also be held in her memory at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, on Sunday November 8, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.
