Voters in Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 approved the sale of liquor, including wine and mixed drinks in Tuesday’s special election.

The vote was 287 in favor and 81 against the measure. Results of the state constitutional amendments election and liquor election will be in the Sunday edition.
