Mauro L. Ramos Mauro L. Ramos, 82, of Kingsville, died Oct. 24, 2009, in Kingsville.

Ramos was born on Jan. 25, 1927, in Ricardo.

He was a retired mechanic.

Survivors include three sons, Albert G. (Juanita) Ramos and Martin (Belinda) Ramos, both of Kingsville and Joe (Rosie) Ramos of Corpus Christi; five daughters, Rosie (Rick) Escalante of Kingsville, Angelita (Noe) Hernandez of Agua Dulce, Juanita (Ernesto) Ortiz, Dora (Martin) Rojas and Josefa (Gilbert) Martinez, all of Kingsville; one brother, Edwardo (Marta) Ramos of Kingsville; 23 grandchildren numerous great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Oct. 26 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home in Kingsville.

A rosary was recited Oct. 26 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass was held Oct. 27 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Torres officiating.

Burial followed at Chamberlain Cemetery in Kingsville.
