If a property owner has not received a tax statement, notify the Kleberg County Tax Office in case of an incorrect address.

Kleberg County collects for the City of Kingsville, South Texas Water Authority, Kingsville ISD, Ricardo ISD, Riviera ISD and Santa Gertrudis ISD.

For taxpayers who have an authorized agent or mortgage company, the original bill was mailed to the authorized agent or mortgage company.

The deadline for payment of the 2009 taxes is January 31, 2010 to avoid penalty and interest to accrue. Partial payments are accepted.

Visa, Mastercard, or Discover are also being accepted. Convenience fees do apply.

Payments are to be mailed to Box 1457 Kingsville TX 78364- 1457.

Property owners should note that Section 31.01 (g) of the Texas Property Tax Code states, “Failure to send or receive the tax bill required by this section does not affect the validity of the tax penalty, or interest, the due date, the existence of a tax lien, or any procedure instituted to collect a tax.”

Tax office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the convenience of the citizens of Kleberg County.

If anyone has questions, contact the Kleberg County Tax Office at 700 E Kleberg or call 595-8542.
