Pvt. Gustavo L. Hernandez Gustavo L. Hernandez, son of Valdemar Hernandez and Noemi Schubert, and a 2009 graduate of H.M. King High School, recently completed Army Boot Camp at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.

He is assigned to Field Artillery with Echo Company 39th Battalion 2nd Infantry Regiment.

His parents were accompanied by Nicole Hernandez, Chris Garcia, and granddaughter Loryn April in attending Pvt. Hernandez’s graduation in Columbia, South Carolina.

Pvt. Hernandez is currently stationed at Fort Sill (Lawton) Oklahoma for additional AIT training.
