homecoming festivities
H.M. King High School’s homecoming parade will be Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and then the annual ‘Burning of the B’ pep rally will be held at the high school practice field.
The crowing of the homecoming king and queen will take place at 7:00 p.m.; before Friday’s game. The homecoming dance will be at 8 p.m. on Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall on General Cavazos.

H.M. King High School freshman Rosario Gonzalez received a first place medal after she won her divisional race at a cross country meet held in Calallen this past weekend.

Riviera-Kaufer High School’s cross country team is hosting an invitational meet.
Santa Gertrudis Kingsville Academy High School’s cross country team competes at the Corpus Christi Moody Invitational meet at West Guth Park.
Volleyball games this week
H.M. King High School’s varsity, junior varsity and freshman volleyball teams visit Laredo Nixon at 12 p.n., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Santa Gertrudis Kingsville Academy High School’s varsity volleyball team visits Ben Bolt-Palito Blanco at 4 p.m. on Friday.

H.M. King High School’s junior varsity and freshman football teams visit Laredo Nixon at 5 p.m. & 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Riviera-Kaufer High School’s junior varsity football team hosts San Diego at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. De la Paz Middle School’s football team hosts San Diego at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
Bishop High School’s junior varsity football team hosts Hebbronville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Luehrs Junior High’s seventh and eighth grade football teams host Hebbronville at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday.
