New Trash Containers

Here is your first look at the new garbage containers planning to be distributed in Kingsville the first week of November. Pictured here is Solid Waste Superintendent Dianne Leubert next to a prototype container. The city’s new containers will be the same design, just brown instead of green. The new containers have a 96 gallon capacity compared to the old ones, which had only 90 pounds, and there is plenty of room in the new containers, measuring 45.13 inches tall with a width of 28.50 inches and a loading depth of 33.73 inches. Each container can hold a maximum load of 200 pounds. All regular trash services and schedules will remain the same as the present schedule.
