Leonor Guevara Leonor Guevara, 65, of Riviera, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in Brownsville.

Guevara was born on August 13, 1944 in Sarita to Abraham and Rosa Guevara. She was a retired seamstress.

Survivors include four sons, Noe (Gloria) Davila of Kingsville, Juan (Janie) Davila Jr. of Brownsville, Rene (Mary) Davila of Edinburg, and Jose (Francisca) Davila of Houston; three daughters, Rose Marie (Robert) Sauceda of Riviera, Barbara Gean (Joe) Hernandez of Beeville, and Sandra Sue Davila of Houston; one brother, Julio H. Guevara of Riviera; one sister, Nelda “Bibi” (Luis) Guevara of Riviera; 28 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation was held Friday, Oct. 2.

A rosary was held Friday, Oct. 2 at Ramirez-Salinas Funeral Home.

A funeral mass was held Saturday, Oct. 3 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Riviera Cemetery.
